ModernEdge AI LLC, 1650 NW 33rd Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33064, United States ("Modern Edge," "we," "us," or "our") operates modernedge.ai, the Modern Edge apps and the Modern Edge Telegram channel, and respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal information when you access or use the Modern Edge Services.
Modern Edge is an AI-powered sports analytics and predictive intelligence platform. We provide analytical information only. We do not guarantee sports outcomes, and our Services should not be treated as financial, gambling, betting, or legal advice. The Services are intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account or subscribe, we collect: name; email address; mobile phone number (required at sign-up; we text you a one-time verification code and use the number to prevent duplicate accounts); password (stored only as a secure hash); time zone; language settings; subscription plan; the date you accepted our Terms; and any other information you choose to provide.
Sign in with Google. If you sign up or log in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account ID from Google. We do not receive your Google password.
Telegram. If you connect Telegram from My Account to receive picks, we store your Telegram user ID so we can deliver picks to you. Telegram's own privacy policy applies to your use of Telegram. Apart from the one-time sign-up verification code, we do not send text messages (SMS) — no picks and no marketing.
1.2 Subscription and Payment Information
Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (such as Stripe, Apple App Store, or Google Play). We do not directly store full credit card numbers. We or our payment providers may collect: billing name and email; payment method type; partial card information (last four digits); transaction ID; subscription status; and renewal or payment failure information.
1.3 Usage Data and Platform Activity
When you use the Services, we may collect: pages and features accessed; time and date of access; session duration; sports, leagues, models, or dashboards viewed; notification interactions; and subscription access activity.
1.4 Device, Log, and Technical Information
We may automatically collect: IP address; browser type and version; device type and operating system; app version; device identifiers; time zone; language settings; log files; crash reports; and approximate location derived from IP address.
1.5 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, enable subscription functionality, measure traffic, detect fraud, and improve the Services. You may control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect functionality.
1.6 Analytics and Advertising Information
We use third-party analytics and advertising tools, such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to understand how people use the Services and to measure and improve our advertising. These tools may collect IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, session duration, and events such as creating an account or starting a free trial.
When you create an account or start a trial, we may share a hashed (one-way encrypted, SHA-256) version of your email address and phone number with these advertising partners so they can match the event to an existing account on their platform. The hash cannot be read back as your email or phone number.
1.7 Communications and Support
If you contact us or submit support requests, we may collect: name; email; message content; support request details; and any files or screenshots you provide.
1.8 Notifications
Depending on your settings and device permissions, we may process notification preferences, device push tokens, alert subscriptions, and sports or model preferences.
2. How We Use Information
- To create and manage user accounts and provide access to Modern Edge features;
- To manage subscriptions, process payments, and prevent payment fraud;
- To personalize dashboards, notifications, and user interface settings;
- To improve platform performance, develop new features, and fix bugs;
- To send account notices, billing messages, security alerts, and service updates;
- To detect unauthorized access, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms;
- To comply with applicable laws and regulatory obligations.
The outputs of our platform — model probabilities, expected-goals figures, backtests, and similar statistics — are informational and educational. They are not advice to place any wager and do not guarantee any outcome. Modern Edge does not use personal information to guarantee any sports result, financial return, or betting outcome.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing personal information, we rely on one or more of the following:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the Services, manage your account, and process subscriptions;
- Consent — for certain cookies, marketing communications, or push notifications;
- Legitimate interests — to operate, improve, secure, and protect the Services;
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable laws, tax requirements, and regulatory obligations.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share personal information only as described here:
- Service providers — hosting, analytics, email delivery (for example Customer.io), payment processing (Stripe), security monitoring, and customer support providers who act on our behalf under contract;
- Advertising partners — such as Google and Meta, which receive device and event information and hashed contact details as described in Section 1.6, to measure and target our advertising (see Section 9 for how to opt out);
- Payment processors and app stores — to process subscriptions and manage billing;
- Legal and compliance purposes — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, property, and safety;
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets;
- With your consent — when you direct us to share information.
5. AI, Analytics, and Automated Processing
Modern Edge uses data, statistical models, algorithms, and AI-powered systems to provide sports analytics and predictive intelligence. We may process usage data, model preferences, and interaction data to improve the performance, reliability, personalization, and usability of the Services. Predictive analytics are probabilistic and informational in nature.
6. International Data Transfers
Modern Edge may operate globally. Personal information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud. When no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, or securely retain it in accordance with applicable law.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of personal information; object to certain processing; request data portability; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; opt out of marketing communications; manage cookies through browser settings; and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

9. Your Privacy Rights (United States)
Depending on your state of residence (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, and others), you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws, including the right to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain data sharing or targeted advertising. California residents may designate an authorized agent to make requests on their behalf.
Opting out of targeted advertising: email hello@modernedge.ai with the subject "Opt out" and we will stop sharing your hashed contact details with advertising partners. You can also limit ad tracking in your browser, device settings, and your Google and Meta ad settings.
10. Marketing Communications
If you subscribe to marketing communications, we may use your contact information to send relevant updates about Modern Edge. You may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. We may still send non-marketing service messages necessary for account, security, or billing purposes.
11. Cookies and Tracking Choices
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies or tracking technologies may affect the availability or functionality of the Services. Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals; because there is no universally accepted standard, Modern Edge may not respond to all such signals.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
13. Children and Users Under 18
The Services are intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
14. Third-Party Links and Services
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, payment providers, data providers, or app stores. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of third-party services. Your interactions with third parties are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the Services or by email.
